Coucou! My name is Serah and I look forward to learning more about you to as an ever curious autodidact polymathic being. I am a Gemini Sun, Virgo Moon, Scorpio Rising with a lot of drive to be of support and get things done. As a Projector (who is still convinced to believe I am a 2/4 but alas, I am a 3/5), I have the ability to see things as if I had an aerial perspective. I offer a refined eye that can find inconsistencies and put things together quickly. A lot of what is asked I have answers to, as I have led a very complex life with very big and intense experiences. I reside in Northern California in the Redwood Curtain, nestled in between the forest and the sea. It is my dream place, and I am full of joy and ease that I have made it to a space that feels like home. I plan to die here.
I am a healer and this newsletter will be led as such. I hold a lot of space for other’s experiences and have experienced deep significant traumas and understand how that affects our experiences as human beings. Also, I am boundaried, and do not believe in dumping or emotional offloading just for the sake of being heard. One must learn to read the energy and how it is being received. As an empath and recovering overthinker, I can hold a lot of space, too much at times, but I can and will be firm if I feel someone is going too far, or being out of line, however I decide and define this. This is a safe space for everyone, and I will moderate it as such to keep myself and the community secure.
Equally, I am aware that money is incredibly complex and can stir up a myriad of feelings. I am here to hold space and be that container. A gentle place to land so your business can evolve from those wiggly legs to some sturdy, reliable legs you can lean on for support. No question is a silly question, and actually, I am asked the same things by both different current clients and potential clients multiple times per week which prompted me to start this newsletter.
I have yet to complete the calculation, but I am certain with my bookkeeping biz I have helped well over 100 various businesses see success and/or improvements in their bookkeeping practices. I have hired people, fired people, and can craft the most delectable professional emails which helps me a lot in my other, parallel life path as a singer-songwriter.
I am quirky and can speak in unusual manners. I have a fascination with archaic words, and stress baked through my twenties. I am a mother to a really sweet and sometimes not teenage daughter, and I am excellent at managing my time, and carving space for creative pursuits alongside my bread and butter business.
2024 has been a year like no other.
People’s spending habits have changed and I was heavily impacted. A really crappy client I had a bad feeling about filed a chargeback for work my firm completed the day after Christmas and I was broke for many months after this. It made me realize I need to plan better, and have more of a connection to the ebb and flow of my business finances, which I became disconnected to as everything was moving so damn fast. Beyond how my life has been impacted, I am seeing the ripple effect across many different industries as we all pivot to find new ways to bring in revenue and thrive.

Payment Options
Free subscribers will be offered one free post per month. This may evolve, this may change, but for now, in June of 2024, this is what feels good to me.
Paid subscribers will have access to up to four posts per month, the Dear Serah column where you can ask your biz questions and they will be posted anonymously hiding any personal information along with first access to teaching offerings as I will keep my groups small.
I have three offerings, two of which grant you full access to all offerings.
Monthly A monthly option for $11 per month as I want this to be accessible and do not believe in gatekeeping. If you love my work and absolutely can not afford to pay at the moment, I don’t need a sob story, just let me know and I can gift you a subscription. If you can afford it, please support in reciprocity so I can feel seen and appreciated. If you can not afford to pay and are gifted a subscription, you can pay it forward by sharing this publication with a friend.
Per Annum An annual subscription offers you a sweet discount equivalent to about two months free. An annual subscription is a way to say I believe in you and your offering and look forward to being on this journey and arriving with you, wherever you land. The cost is $111 for the year.
Founder A founders subscription is the crème de la crème à la Edgar. This is for those of you who want to be a part of the growth of my offering, understand the value of the offering, and want to invest and believe in me as a human being. The cost of this is $444 and there is a flexible option to pay less. Now less can be $222, or $333, but if I see anything in the $100’s, I may reach out to you and politely be disinclined to accept. Truly I respect the boundaries of my offerings. This one may evolve, change, and grow, but to those who invest the full amount, there will be an offering as a way of me expressing my gratitude. I wish this could be called collaborator instead of founder but, I am not a Substack influence (yet)!
